Documentary film now in production!

The Henry Beston Society is working with Chatham's Christopher Seufert and Mooncusser Films on a documentary film about the legacy of Henry Beston and his classic nature book, The Outermost House, and how the World War I ambulance driver turned naturalist’s book became an inspiration behind the creation of one of the crown jewels of New England National Parks – the Cape Cod National Seashore. Watch our most recent interview footage sample above. A DVD of more pre-production video will be available for purchase shortly. Check back here for details!

Thanks to the generous support so far from our friends, members and the Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Bank Charitable Foundation

Please consider an online donation to the Beston Society's documentary film project by clicking the "Donate" button below.

Thank you from all of us at the Henry Beston Society!
